Hi All,
I have been on here a couple of times before but now have the time to write this all out. I have been"husky" all my life. I remember having to breathe hard running behind friends, riding my bike, pushing other people on the swing. For interviews in high school I wore my grandmothers size 12 suits. Now I am a 22 probably more like a 24 but I refuse to buy clothes a month before my surgery date. I blame myself for being a picky eater all my life and not making the right choices. I also recall eating a sandwhich and drinking slim fast in the 7th and 8th grade and people picking on me saying I can't eat and have slim fast- but I was a child and felt I needed the food for the extra energy.
Well now I am making some true life changes. I am scheduled for a month from now- May 9th at ST V's in Carmel,IN. Many people I work with in L and D in Indy have already had some type of WLS. I am really excited and hope and pray all goes well. Keep me in your prayers as I will you.
