I'm going on my first visit Oct 5th. I'm excited but when I took my photo it really looked bad. I always hid when anyone was taking pictures. I sure do hope I look as good as some of the pictures I've seen . I'm 59 and when the surgery is scheduled I'll be 60.i know I got aways to go but in the end it will all be worth it. I started making appt's my first one is October 3rd I'm having a mammogram done it's been 7 years since the last one. On October 5th after seen my bariatric surgeon I have an appt. with the cardiologist. I had open heart surgery 13 year's ago. The next appt is the endoctine doctor I have diabetes (which is not under control). One of my bad habits are sweets. My doctor told me that when my blood sugars are high I crave sweets and you are always hungry (boy is she right.) When I had open heart sugery I was 254lbs after a couple of months I went down to 212lbs I now weight 249. I think it's time to do something about it. The open heart sugery was hard this surgery should be a piece of cake. HA HA I go on here everyday and read everyone's achievements it's helping me because I haven't been very hungry.
