. . . to my surgery. I s/w Anita @ Hurley Bariatric today. She received my psych eval & letter but hasn't gotten my med rec's from my PCP. What the heck. She said she requested them in Jan and Feb and again today. She told the office that they are impeding my efforts for better health. I called my PCP and they said the rec's will be faxed today. Anita says that once she receives them my file will go to pre-auth then a few days later I'll be ready for "boarding", which means the nutrition appointment and surgery date. Yay. Gary is doing great. He had his RNY in 06/06 and had his tummy tuck & hernia repair 2.5 weeks ago. Other than Cabin Fever, he is experiencing a great recovery. Softball and golf will be so much nicer for him this year without his belly. I'm very happy for him. I am also very anxious to get my new life started.
