My first 5k!

May 11, 2009This weekend I participated in my first 5k race. I went to support a friend and her daughter who is a special needs child. The race helped raise money for the special olympics. It was great! I'm super proud of myself for the accomplishment. I also got to meet up with fellow youtubers who vlog their journey. It was so cool to meet up with them! We hung out in Austin, Texas and had Starbucks, BBQ, and went out dancing and karaokeing later that night. We had a Ball! If anyone follows me on YouTube, I have a video up of our weekend. There is footage from the race on it too.
Can't believe the summer is already almost here! Wow! This summer is gonna be sooo much different than last summer. I have so much more energy. I walk everyday and have been working on my tan when I walk. When we go to Orlando in June, it will be great to get pictures to compare to last June's trip to Orlando!
