Just wanted to let everyone know that my surgery was a sucess!!!!! Dr.Bour and his staff are wonderful... I am ready for the road to sucess!!!!

I have already lost 13 lbs... only 5lbs more lbs to go. I know that it will not be a problem getting to that 5 lbs off. I am sticking to the liquid diet (optifast really good.) I am very proud of myself. I have been working out now for about a month and a half.. I work out @ Peak Fitness in Spartanburg.. I love it!!!!! I payed for a personal trainer the other night. This way I will have great support when getting back into the gym after surgery. They will know exactly how to get me in shape and teach me the correct way of doing things. I have the EGD done this MOnday 3/3/08.. I am a little nervous, but just ready for this whole process to be over with and for my new life to begin. 1 week and counting................

My story is much like everyone elses... I have been overweight all my life. I have tried many diets and only found myself loosing the same weight over and over again. 

I woke up oneday and realized that I needed to take control if I wanted to be around to see my children grow up.

I went to Doctor Bour's information session in June 2007. Went home and prayed about it... and then went any payed my enrollment on August 1st.. and started the process then. This has been an experience within itself, I would not trade for nothing. I have learned alot about myself!!
