My very first blog

 Hey everyone,my first blog will really being inktroducing myself and my story,                                                                                        My name is amanda and in 26 years old,at first i want to explain that i have a rare brain condition which causes too much fluid around the brain and gives me sever headaches and always being nauseated and sometimes blurry vision,i was only diagnosed with this condition in 2007.after lost of trial medication and numerous Lumbar Punctures they decided to operate on my brain,i had so many problems i ended up having over 50 operations on my brain and back,my neurosurgeons always said the condition would go away if i lost weight,i obviously tried but very hard with constant headaches and nausea,the next thing to try was to get a referal to a bariatric doctor.                                                                                                                                   
I then got an appointment with Dr Garneau at rockland and he was more then happy to put my on the list,he mentioned it would be done within 6months .The 6 months passed and i still got no calls,i had my mother call martine explained everything and there had been a mistake,she spoke with dr garneau,a few hours later she called me this was a monday,She told me were going to plan everything within a month,She then mentioned to come in the following morning for blood test and pre op,this was the first week of july,my nutrition class was done on the 2nd week of july,I had to see a spevialist in the beginning of august,and August 18th i was sleeved,So its been 14 months since surgery,its been a rollercoaster with ups and downs,ive lost 80 pounds so far,but i loose slower as i did not start at a big weight,Im still trying to get used to the new lifestyle but ive been doing things ive done before and its harder to bjreak them,Iam haopy to say i dont  shop in the plus size store anymore,wonderful people i am meeting,
also i now have my mother to start the journey with as she was sleeved on august 24th,Im still trying to fight my cravings but i am very rarley hungry,I am also having trouble working out due to my headsches but im learninig whats good and bad and starting to feel more inches come off and pounds too but slowly,
Well im going to try to blog every month or more,
