"This is a very good Dr. I first had the lapband in 2008 under Dr. Tanner (who was also great). But I had a band slippage (due to a hernia) in 2010 and had replacement surgery under Dr. Rodriguez. The band has changed my life. I went from 328lbs to 165lbs. I love it!"
"I have met Dr. Tanner at a seminar at Norton's and once in his office. He is very nice and very patient. You will however have to meet in his office twice (second time you get your surgery date) unlike many other drs. Also, most (if not all) people are required to pay $250 up front cost to cover future appts after the band. This is not covered by insurance. Insurance said it should just be a normal co-pay, but this is a consult fee that he requires. You get back the balance if it isn't all used up. But so far, everything is going smooth. I get my surgery date this Friday from him. YIPPEE!!"
