9/11 Today is a very sad day and we will never forget the lives that were lost. I'm so thankful for everything that we have and everything that we fight for on a daily basis.
I do have good news of my own. My hubby is home and looks great!! You would never know he had surgery, he's walking and eating well. Another reason to be thankful for. God Bless all and have a wonderful weekend.

Recent update and wishing all the best

Hello All,
Fist of all...I want to wish everyone the best of luck!!!
Please know that our beginning is a bit rough, but once you pass the first stage after surgery... it's a breeze. I've been thankful that this was best decision I've made in my life.
"Being afraid is natural but it will make you a stronger person in the long run".
Make the right decision, do the homework and if you kow that your insurance covers it, get them on the ball.
Do this for yourself. Do it for you family and most importantly, do it for your health.
My final thoughts... GET DR. DAVIS!! Well you chose who you like but I will say this. He will make sure that you are educated and prepared before surgery. And no regrets.
I'm feeling so much better

So far I'm feeling much better. The 2 units of blood made a big difference. I was a bit scared that I would end up back in surgery. Thank god that will not be the case.
OMG, I had a coughing spell today and boy did that hurt well enough about my rambling...
I want to give a special thanks to Dora, she has managed to come see me, while her poor husband is sick in ICU. At the same hospital, mind you. Dora I'm praying for his recovery. He will get better, have faith.
Can't go home yet

I made it and I'm doing okay. Last night was a bit rough not being able to drink was hard, but I made it. The dctor will release me tomorrow. The doctor said my surgery was a piece of cake. It only took an 1-1/2. My stomache is a bit tight, he did not give me the support belt. I've been up and walking around, drinking my liquids... Well I'm a little pooped out right now. I'll send an update when I get home.
Marcia -I will be praying for you my friend. Everything will be fine. Let me know how everything goes.
Thanks for all of the prayers and support.
