Hello everyone, My name is Amy and I am 35 years old. I have researched WLS since 2003 and I have finally decided to get RNY. I went to several seminars before deciding on a hospital and surgeon. I was a smoker and I am happy to say I have quit smoking as of April 29th 2007 and I feel a lot better. I am just ready to be healthy, I have been overwieght actually obese is probably a better word, my entire life. I gained a whole lot of wieght after the death of my daughter and my angel Cierra in 2002. I have done almost every diet out there, I have gone up and down for years. I am ready, I am excited, and I am so happy I found OH. I love reading the storys and seeing the progress of everyone, the support here is beautiful. I look forward to making many friends.
