Well its actually 4 but I'm not counting today! I can't believe that in 3/4 days I'll go under the knife to change my life. I'm soooo ready for this surgery its not even funny. I'm mentally and physically prepared for it. I know I'm running around trying to eat everything one last time (and I did gain back EVERYTHING plus some that I had lost in my 6 month diet) but I'm totally ready and willing to give this 100%!I weighed in at 280 on the scale at the Drs office. My mouth just dropped open. I was shocked. I weighed in 264 not even 2 months ago. Its just a daily struggle as you can see but I'm ready to change my life!
I'm actually very clam. I thought I'd be nervous or freaking out. About a month ago, I made myself sick just thinking about it. Now, I think about it and picture myself in clothes bought from ANYWHERE or in a bathing suit playing with my daughter or in my "skinny" jeans with my husband telling me how good I look! We (my husband and I since we are both getting the surgery) will not fail this time. We won't fail for ourselves but we aren't going to fail because of our daughter! We want to teach her the right way and let her follow in our footsteps because we'd never be able to do that the way we are. We want to show her working out is fun and to watch what you eat and to stay active and this is giving us that opportunity. I couldn't be more grateful! I was watching Biggest Loser last night and they showed a clip where Jillian had to eat Taco Bell because one of the teams ate that for dinner one night. She lifted the tops of the plates up and just cringed and was in disgust of what she saw. I turned to my husband and was like, "OMG I want Taco Bell now!" I then told him that I can't wait for that to be me. To look at that stuff and think "OMG, I am NOT putting that in my body!" Its going to be such a great feeling and I'm soooo ready!
Watch out America, Amy is coming to the losers bench!!!
