So my first post was in August and it is now almost the end of January. My medical insurance said I needed 6 months of supervised diet...done! Then in December, my doctor placed a pre-approval request with insurance, and they declined it. They said I had to use ONLY an "In Network" doctor for weight loss surgery. So, Christmas week, I was insanely running around trying to find a doctor.To the rescue comes Dr. Jean-Baptiste...he was recommended highly and I went for a consult. The magic words he said were "Do you want to keep your surgery date". I said yes, and we are off!
This coming Monday (1/26) I have my pre-op tests and Wednesday is my RNY.
I will keep you posted..say a prayer for me!
