Hi. I'm new here and just all kinds of happy about the progress I've made. Had RNY surgery on May 26th of this year. Had a follow up appointment yesterday and in the 5 weeks since surgery I have lost...get this...41 pounds!!! I was so worried that this lifestyle change would be really hard (I was going to miss my food!) and so far it hasn't been at all. I'm sure I'm in store for some road blocks in the future, but between going on this site and going to my post-op support groups, I think I'll be ok. I already hit 20% of the weight loss I am supposed to lose. I'm just almost freaking out about how fast it's coming off. I haven't been this happy since my kids were born (quite a while ago) or my divorce. LOL
Anyway, just wanted to tell SOMEBODY about the success I've been having so far.
