Hello, welcome to my story. Where do I start...well, I am 37 years old, mother of a wonderful 14 year old son. Remarried in December of 2004 to a wonderful, terrific and loving man who bought with a great son who is 11. I have 3 dogs, Lucy, German Shepherd, Dega, Dutch Shepherd and Jake, mixed Australian Shepherd. They are great. I own a electrical company with my father, brother and husband, we have been in the electrical field for over 45 years. It is stressful at times but we are making it.
I have researched the RNY for over 7 years and decided after I lost my mother two years ago to a stroke that there is no way I wanted to leave my son in 5 or 10 years. Of course who says you will be around that long but why help the cause against you. I had my surgery on 10-4-06 and glad every minute of the day. I know that I have several obstacles ahead of me but I will undoubtfully make it through them. Today is 10-15-06 and I will say I am feeling great. I had the best surgeon in my opinion and that is what matters to me, good thing. The hospital was great, the staff was great and the overhaul experience was terrific. Ask my husband he was a nervous wreck and he will tell you now that he feels so relieved now.
