Well, I haven't added a blog in a while, I have been so busy... which is a good thing.  The weight loss has certainly slowed down, but is still moving.. slowly but surely... I am down to 230 pounds now... 136 gone! Wooo Hooo... I never really thought it would go this well. Although the gallbladder troubles threw me for a loop, I still have no regrets and feel fabulous.  I still have a hard time wanting to go out in big crowds of people though, still feel very self conscious about a chunk here or a roll there LOL.. I know I should not worry about those things, and just know that I am getting healthier every day, BUT, it's never going to go away... I guess I just learn from it... I hope everyone is having as a good a journey as I am... Hope to hear from you all soon for an update! Ciao for now!

WOW, My BMI is now at 39.5!!!! I am only obese now hahahahah.. no more super obese for me... and a few more points, I will be Overweight LMAO.. have a goo d one all ..

Hey there everyone!  I am back online since my gallbladder surgery! Finally got it out. Unfortunately it wasn't a scheduled surgery.. I had an attack that wouldn't stop and it was a horrible day! After 4 1/2 hours I finally went to the emergency room and they admitted me right away.  My liver function tests were off the charts and the started me immediately on IV antibiotics as my gallbladder was *toxic*... I was transferred to Moncton the following day as Dr. B. found me a bed right away and wanted to monitor me so we could decide what we were going to do.  Because my gallbladder was so enlarged and small stones and sand were blocking the valves to my liver, he wanted to treat me with antibiotics for a few weeks and get the inflamation down, but after 3 days in hospital on IV, I was still having attacks so Friday morning he decided to take it out.  It has been 9 days since I have had it out and I am feeling pretty good.  I took the advice of the Dr. and did nothing for the first week.  I am now doing all my light work around the house, but refuse to lift anything heavier than 10 lbs.. that is why I had boys, to do the hard stuff for me *L*  So just wanted everyone to know that I am still around and starting to feel fabulous! I lost quite a bit of weight while in hospital as I wasn't allowed to eat or drink ANYTHINGGGGGGG... that was hard... So I am now at 251 lbs (my lowest weight in 6 years).. my goal right now is to be back in the 100's by the end of the summer... wonder if I can do it!! Will update again soon!

Hey everyone or anyone that actually reads these.  Just leaving an update... my new BMI is 42.7.. so now I am just extremely obese instead of super obese aahhahaha... gotta love it.  The first time I took my BMI it was 62, then just before surgery it was 59.1 and now I'm low 40's.. wooo hooo... I have however had a slow losing couple of weeks.  I missed 3 periods since my surgery which my doctor said was pretty normal considering how much weight I had lost. Well, it came back last week with a vengence and I have been on it for 7 days so far.  I'm puffy and bloated... can't wait till this one is over and I'm back to normal.  Hope everyone is doing well!

May 3, 2007, Just over 100 pounds gone and I'm feeling fabulous! 

I finally have my surgery date. November 29!!! Wooo hooooo... I'm so excited but scared at the same time... I don't have internet anymore so it is really hard to make updates, but I will do my best!
