Just want to say hope everyone has a very safe and blessed 2010! A little late but my 6 weeks was this past Wed the 23rd. I have lost a total of almost 75 lbs whoo hoo!
42 lbs from the day of surgery... Thank the good LORD I am on my way! I know I need to kick my walking up. But my dang treadmill is giving me problems, oh well that's another story. Anyways just want to say Happy New Year and everybody be safe! HUGS!

2 1/2 weeks out!

Got on the scale today and it said 29 lbs lost and it's only been 2 1/2 weeks! I already feel so much better! Thank u dear LORD for giving me my life back!

Is it normal to be a little hungry now?

I am almost 2 weeks out. I am starting to feel a little hungry now. Is that normal? Lord knows I DO NOT want to fail. I'm just wondering, have any of you experienced this shortly after surgery? Any infomation would be greatly appreciated. Thank you so much. This site is so awesome with all the support!

1 week follow up!

Went today for 1 week follow up. And I thought I only lost 13 lbs since the day of surgery. Found out I have lost 16 lbs! YAY!

Today is 2nd post op day. I came home yesterday, but I'm still hurting from the gas pain that they give you during surgery. And I'm still hurting from the surgery. My husband just went to go pick up my pain medicine. My family has been so good to me. They did'nt leave my side. I have been walking a little. Is it normal to not want to eat nothing (well clear liquids)? I just want this gas pain to go away.

This time tomorrow, I will be at the hospital! I cant believe it's finally here! I'm really excited and little nervous, but more excited. It's been really hard with this clear liquid diet, but I know it's gonna be worth it.
Is it bad that I had a couple of noodles from chicken noodle soup 2 days ago.? I pray not, I know that when I do have my surgery it's gonna be a lot easier. As you all know it's NOT before your surgery.
Does anyone have any advice and what to expect with the VSG... I mean like right after surgery? Any information would be so greatly appreciated, and I thank you all for being such a great support system on this web site. Is there anything that you did'nt bring to the hospital with you that u wish u had? Again thank you all from the bottom of my heart..GOD BLESS!
