So after three long years of waiting, I finally had my surgery on May 30.

It's been wonderful, aside from the terrible gas pains on day 2.

I'm down 11 lbs. so far and have been walking for an hour everyday.

Hello all, it's been a while.

After three long years of waiting, (Canada,you know) I finally got my surgery date.

It's May 30 and I start my pre-op liquid diet the day after tomorrow.

Yesterday I had my assessment at RJH. Both Carla and Dr. Van den Berg were absolutely lovely and very supportive. Finally it seems like its really going to happen and I'm so excited!
