A few things I have to say now that I'm off most of the pain meds.
Dr Eric Wiess in Orange Park, FL. is a great Plastic Surgeon. He's worth every penny. The day I had the surgery and was home groggy and feeling like hell his office sent a lovely basket of flowers. They sit right across from my bed so I can see them. They called me up several times to be sure I was alright and that I knew to call them. When there was problems with the new fed rules about Oxycodo-Apap that you can not do refills they got new perscriptions to my hubby right away so he could get them filled.
At any time of night or day they would answer our questions. Just like my RNY doc did. The whole time I have been recovering they have been wonderful. As it turns out the drains need to stay a few days longer. They asked questions I never thought to ask and it was great.
Today they took out the pain pump and the black stitches. Told us how they wanted the pressure band to be worn and what to look for. They also gave us picture of the extra tissue. I know down here they don't use it for burn victims I wish they did. Still from the pic it looks to be around 12 to 15 lbs they took off.
They were happy that I get up and move around every few hours but I don't do any heavy work around the house and that I get out for a little while like at the mall. Over all they had nothing bad to say and everything looks great.
Once the swelling goes down and the site heals I will be able to do some light working out. I can already tell that pressure that had been bothering my back is a lot less. I can move much better and form what I can tell I will have a very nice hourglass figure.
I'll have to get use to the new bellybutton and being able to see all of me with no over lapping. I'll have to get new pants for sure.
Both Robert and Renee' have been great. They are helping me out but also relize that I want to try and do somethings for myself. They make sure I have taken my meds and am not hurting and that I'm drinking enough water and juice.
This had been a great Christmas gift.
I'll post pictures when I'm able. In the mean time I'm doing great and looking for a nice office job. I might see about going to school for a bit. Shopping is going to be fun for sure next month.

Me in a junior size 14 wedding dress (As everyone knows wedding dresses are small size and often for skinny teens). My normal dress is size 10-12. And the shocker is I could still breath. Robert and I were married on Father's Day, June 20th, 2010.

So much has happened this year and I have either not had time to post or had lost the password so could not get back on here until I found it. The system was sending to my old now dead email address at the time so no way to up date it. Now it is all fixed so I'm back posting.
The Wedding was June 20th, 2010 on Father's Day. Robert really loved it and we had a great time. There was a ton to do and time went fast. One fun point was his brother decorated up the wrong car so we had a good laugh over that and my poor older daughter had to drive it home.

Another update is a gift from Robert. December 1st I go in to get my tummy tucked and the extra skin finally off. It will cost us some but I will feel a lot better and beable to work out more. for the past few years after loosing all that weight I have been limited in how I can keep myself toned up. Often either I would bruse the skin badly, have tears or rashes due to the rubbing. I would love to swim more, bike ride without hurting myself and also run.
Also I will beable to get back to working again. Had to leave my job due to my limits and back problems. The doc has had to restrict what I can do. So after this I will once again beable to do a lot more. It will be great. It is such a wonderful gift from Robert.
Anyway we have had a ton going on here. Between the kids, wedding and a tree hitting our house (only damage was the roof and that was replaced) it has been a very busy year.
I'm looking into going to college and seeing about nutrition as my field. In any case I want to give back and help folks so will be looking into the Health field. Still planning on opening a Herbal Health store here in Orange Park, Fl. We think folks will really like it.

Too Busy - Update

I have had no time to visit here. So again I need to do up cards for folks. I will once my computer room is put back together again.
After a year ago moving from Virginia I moved again. This time to a house that Robert and I bought. We are still in Florida and in fact will be working on starting up a shop in the Orange Park area that will be for Health. Its focus will be for Bariatric, Diabetics and others with special needs. Also it will be a herb and tea shop too. We are planning it out right now. If you live in the Jacksonville area please do write to me with suggestions and ideas.
As for those of you who have read my blog you know I was divorced in June of 2008 then moved in October to Florida to help out my best friend who had just lost his roommate to the Air Force. The move saved me around 5k and it has been a very fun and interesting year.
We both knew that come a year later it would be time to look at moving to another apartment since the current one was proving to be too small. We hit on the idea of using his VA benifits to get a small house that we would share for a short time then find another house for my daughter and I.
Well as it turns out other things entered our plans. For one the idea of moving out was something neither of us wanted to thing about too much. Also the house we wanted neede both our incomes to get. So these past months we both took a long hard look at our lives and living apart... and we can't.
The thought of not having Robert around would leave me crying at night. So we talked. Robert and I have always talked a great deal. This time the talk was how he felt and wanted in life. To hear another person tell you that you have been in his heart a long time and the pain they feel at the thought of you not being there... well it is a feeling that is beyond description.
In the past two months we have become very close so we started dating. Looking back in reality we have been dating since I moved down here. We get along so well folks think we have been married for years. That is the good kind of getting along. We don't aruge we talk things over and never fight. Often we both come up with the same idea just think it up at different angles.
The move took a lot out of us but also made us look at the house and that it is ours. Looking at all the stuff it's not a case of dividing everything up. The movies are all together as is the kitchen and more. It's not "You own there or that" It's "Where do we put this or that."
And to top it off we are both happy. More later. - Jaz

Updates - Life is strange and wonderful

Time has just vanished for me. Work, family and my new life in Florida. So much and so little time to do anything on any of my boards. So now that I have taken a few days off here is an update.
Those of you who requested cards and have not heard back will get them. I'll be working on them sunday night.
Right now I'm in the middle of getting a house with Myle. A month ago we had a long... well short talk due to his have to go to work but it was much longer later. Found out we are both on the same track and well feel the same about each other. So... stay tune for that out come.
Planning to after we get the house open a store here in Orange Park/ Jacksonville, FL that will cater to Bariatrics, herbs, supliments and other health realted items. We will also set up support groups and other things. So those of you living out here please do get a hold of us and help plan out the store. For now we have a website (for some reason the site will not post here you will have to access it manually or I will edit into the main link to my site. [manually] swords.cc/interafter/news.php) please join us there. We would also like OH to add their info to the site as well. I'll be talking to them about it. The idea is each of us should support the community and each other. So I want other support groups to add their links to our site too. Only thing I ask is no name calling or other issues. The site is for help not hinderance.
Other news I'm still hanging around between size 12 and 10 and it's been now 3 years. I love working at GNC helping others who come in and tell me about their weigh problems. They are all shocked that I use to weigh 316. Some folks tell me I'm lying until they see the pictures. Had a few ask me to write a book and do some speaking. I'm thinking about it, if I can help one person that will make it all worth it.
Other than that dealing with the state over my drivers licence and how long it is taking to reinstate it.
I still need to save up for some surgery mainly a body lift. It would be nice to wear something nice to the beach. While folks tell me it's no big deal to me it is. It's personal and I want at the very lease that hanging skin gone and my ass lifted. Right now it's hard to gauge my weight because I have to take off about 15lbs just to be sure I'm not getting too thin. I want to stay between 145 and 155. I don't like having bony shoulders or arms.
At least once a month I end up having to force myself to eat more to fill out my cheeks and shoulders. Clothes are fitting great still if that extra skin was gone they would fit better below my waist.
Other than that I'm just working hard and having fun. Getting around and making up for lost time. - Jaz

Well when I last left you all I was moving to Florida.
I moved and it all went great. Took a while to get things all resetup here. Christmas went fine and life has been good.
UNTIL last tuesday night.
I was very tired after sleeping only a hour before going to work that day. So when I got home I was very tired and went to lay down for a few hours. Thought I would get up around 11pm and call Myle, chat for a few hours then back to bed and be ready for the next day. WRONG!!!
I wake up about 2 hours later and am wondering why the rat cage was on the floor and why I was being strapped down to a gurney. And why was there these guys talking to me and freaking well why was my head hurting and my hands covered in blood?
AFter getting to the hospital my daughter tells me that she found me on the floor bleeding and having a sesure. Apparently some how I rolled out of bed, hit my head on a book shelf, cutting it open then hit the door closing it and laying there bleeding about a pint before she found me. I had kicked over the chester drawers and the rat cage so the poor rat was trying to figure out what was was up.
After they took pictures of my head and stapled me back together I was allowed to be taken home by Myle. Oh he got to find out all about this viva my daughter going up to his floor, he asked why she was there and she told him "Moms down in the ER." I'm sure he made a quick dash down 3 flights of stairs to find me there looking lost.
Need less to say I have had for the past week folks watching over me. I can't drive for the next 6 months so Myle is now driving me all over the place. The joys of life. The doctors are still trying to figure out what happen to me and why. So I get to visit doctor offices all this week and next. In the mean time I have to work because no sick days left since the move.
Yes I will get to those cards I owe folks but for now I have them all on hold until I feel better and can think straight as well as see the screen better. So if you sent me a note I have it just everything is on hold right now.
In the mean time today I received several complments.
"I was looking for the tall, thin gal who is crazy - funny."
"I wish I looked as good as you do."
"Are you sure you have ever had to diet?"
I manage a GNC and at times I have to laugh at the comments folks make to me. So many don't realize I have been on the other side and well understand the problems they are having. I just pull out the pictures and they get to tell me "That's not you! No way!"
Anyway I'm still around folks just trying to get my life in order still. Moving takes a lot out of you. I am enjoying life and living it. - Jaz

Yes I'm still doing cards for folks just I have lot going on right now and little time to work on much outside of getting packed for the move in 2 weeks and well work. If I don't answer you do not think I did not receive your email. I did. I just don't know when I can get to it and I keep my email unread to be sure I see it late when I'm doing the cards.
Right now I have just 2 weeks (to date) before I move to Florida. Sorry I can't attend the local OH event this year but I have to work that day. It was really nice to have a call asking me if I would attend and if GNC would be there too. Sorry to say with what all that is going on I was not able to get GNC to ok donating to the event. Maybe next year.

Update
A big thank you to everyone who has placed orders for books and
items. I have emailed everyone who I received money from and sent out
their orders.
Last week I was able to get about 1/4 of the locker over to my
apartment and took photos. I have about 100 more items to add to the
pages but for now (I just added around 30) they have been updated.
All this week I will be adding more stuff so check them often. There
WILL be more added every few days. So if you don't see something now
check back it might be there. I have only just now hit the fabric and
will be going through some of the boxes this week and start listing
what I have.

Note: Needle folks I have perfect thread count fabric from 12 to as
fine as 32 per inch. I will be listing the natural and bleached
needlework fabric later this week. Right now going over it to be sure

Locally I will be (weather permitting) at one of two flea markets in
the area. Either the Front Royal one off near South Street (North of
Hwy 55) or the Shen-Flea Market just off 522 after Dinosour Land.
I'll be there Saturday and Sunday for the next seveal weeks. If it
rains I will be home either way you can call me at 540-660-5490. I
won't know until 6am either day. But so far my schedual is Saturday
and Sunday off, that can change quickly though.
The SCA Closet Sale will be on going until the lsecond week in
October. I plan to leave for Florida then. For those keeping track of
my moving fund I'm at the 1/4 mark right now and plan to be at the
1/2 way point at the end of the month. If any merchant would like to
help me out by taking some of this stuff to an event, please contact
me asap. I will gladly work out a deal. I also could use some help
getting stuff moved out of the locker too.
Also if anyone would like to share a spot at the Flea Market with me
and you have a truck please call. I only have a small car so can't
take much at any one time.
Other side note: Does anyone local know how to take a AC fan motor
out of a Dodge Neon 1999 model? The part is under warrenty but I am
stiffled as to how to get it out and not have to pay a forture.

Alright as many of you know I have been gone for a while. Went on vacation and all. Had to deal with a hacker messing up my web site and getting back to work dealing with employees who did not do their job. Anyway!
I will finish those cards folks have asked for BUT right now my life is full trying to get up money to move to Florida. Had a long talk with a friend who I have been close with for years and we both realized "Hey I'm divorced" and there are no walls up any more. Came as a shocker because you get into a habbit of "Ok I like this person but I'm married so it is only friendship period."
In any case we have a lot in common and enjoy each others company. If it goes beyond that well so be it if not well we are good close friends and happy about it all. It was intersting how this all came out. Seeing a guy stalling to say good-bye all day and knowing your both stalling, then even longer at the airport.
Finally you have to say good-bye...
