 Yesturday I went for my consultation with Dr. Oliphant.  He was very nice and explained things to me. 
My BMI is too high for the lapband. With my hiatal hernia, the gastric bypass will help fix it. Dr. Oliphant advised me on which of the WLS would benifit me the best. 
I have an appointment to meet with the diatician, but Carle is so behind with appointments, that I can't get in there until December. 
I need to have my psych evaluation and start my support group meetings.  I am going with a friend on Thursday nights at Carle. :)  My friend is having the Sleeve donw at the end of August. Dr. Oliphant is her doctor too. 
I am very nervous, but with going to the support groups, I think it will make me more at ease.
