Hello, my name is Gail, I am 50 years old, mother of two wonderful daughters, 1 son in law, 2 grandsons, 1 grandaughter and a cocker named Clark Gable. And I have a BMI of 62 and I am 5ft 3ins. I need WLS in a bad way, TO LIVE. I have so many health problems, just to many to list. But my knees cause me to fall a lot and many, many trips to the ER. Last visit to the ER, the doctor told me I had two choices ( 1 ) DIET or ( 2 ) just take the "e" off diet. That will scare the hell-o right out of you. So, as we start my journey. I would like you to listen to the song I picked, thanks to a "heart of gold" OH volunteer Apple Pie. She did my profile and put the song in. The song "UNWELL" by Matchbox 20. I decided to kinda change the words to the following:
I 'm Not Crazy, Just a Whole Lot Over Weight, Which Makes Me a Little "UNWELL". So, Stay Awhile and After My WLS, I Pray You See a Healthy, Thinner Side Of Me.
"Unwell" . I have some good days and some not so good days, my weight plays the BIGGEST part of that. Not doing the things like just making my bed because I get so out of breath. I used to love to do house and yard work but now it just things I can't do because of my health and weight. I also loved to just walk I can't do it any longer. I never had health problems till the weight started , I have to get this surgery , I WANT TO LIVE,AGAIN. While, reading my journey remember:
