Armilda
Hi everyone.My name is Armilda and I'm very obese and have been since I was 11 years old.I have been on the diet roller coaster ever since.I am a mom of 3 beautifull children and as we all know we gain weight while being pregant except I couldn't git rid of my weight after wards.So I contacted a surgeon about WLS to see if it was right for me,and they scheduled a seminair for me to go to to make sure thats what I wanted.The surgeon was reall in formative on the surgey with the pros and con s of it.So after the seminar I talked with the Doctor more about it and decided thats what I wanted to do.So now the paper work had to be sent to the insurece company for approval.That was the first of Febuary and on Valentines day I got my approval.I then had to go see a Nut Doctor LOL for an phyc evaluation to see if I new what I was getting into.I also quite smoking that day too.THANK GOD FOR CHEWING GUM!!!!!!!From there I had to see a lung doctor and a heart doctor.After all that I had to have my vena cava filter put in. now here it is April and I have my sergury date WOOOOOOOOOOOOO HOOOOOOOOOOOOOO My surgery is April 11th which is only 5 days away boy am I nervous.Well I guess I wont bore you any more I will update soon.
Future Update 4/10/2005
Tommorrow is the big day and needless to say I'm nervous.I'm ready for anything thou I made it through having to drink magnisium cintrate i can do anything lol.Will post more later.
It has been quite sometime since I have updated my profile and I thought I would try to do that now.Since I last updated I have lost over a 100lbs now and I'm just so haapy with myself and how my surgery has helped me feel better to where I can do the things that I need to do now instead of wishing that I could do those things.I can now walk just about anywhere I want to with out hurting and having to sit for a while before continueing.My family is now so proud of me instead of being embarressed about me being so big and not being able to do anything,and that makes me feel ten times better than I ever thought I could. Dr.Shina was my life saver and I just can't thank him enough for what he has giving me and my family.Untill next time Happy Losing To Everyone
