Today I had an upper GI test done to try and determine why I have been vomiting in my sleep. The test did show that the contents don't actually go immediately into my stomach but tend to remain in my esophagus then sorta teeter totter back and forth. This defect is what is causing the vomiting when I go to sleep. I now have to discuss my next step with my doctor. I am kinda nervous about having another procedure but I think I am more afraid to continue on this same path aspirating at night and coughing up residue from my lungs. I don't want to sound negative because this has still been one of the est decisions of my life.
