 Each day I feel stronger and more comfortable.  It is amazing to me that each day my abdomen Really Is more comfortable.
Slow and steady wins the race in this event.

 I am here!  What a relief!  My surgery went well on Monday morning.  I came home Thursday afternoon and am slowly recovering.  I have little energy and my left side is uncomfortable.  But each day I am better and I know I have made the right choice with this sergery.
Thank you to all that have sent me well wishes and encouragement.  It has been very helpful!

 It is Thursday night.  My surgery  is Monday morning.  I am now counting the minutes.  I am at the point now that I would like to just have the surgery already!  It can not come soon enough!

I am so thrilled to be having bariatric surgery!  9 days to go!  It has not always been that way... I was a believer in "you are who you are".  I have always been a heavy person... always.  But when I started to break furniture, have strangers yell unmentionable insults at me in public, and I considered my actual state of wellbeing; I changed my mind!  Here I am, 9 days PREsurgery and I am feeling great about the decision I have made.  I am confident that Gastric byPass is the correct choice for me and I am ecstatic I will have a longer, healthier life!
