Im new to OH. I started my Lap Band journey Dec. 13, 2006 when I attended a weightloss seminar held by my doctor.I finished all my appointments by the middle of Feb. I found out that BCBS of NC approved me, that was the most exciting day of my life! I know that my life was going to change for the better and that I had no where to go but up in spirits AND DOWN ON THE SCALES. I was prepared to do the Gastric Bypass but really wanted the Lap Band to my surprise BCBS of NC approved me for LAP BAND!!!!!So here I am 2 days post-op and 3lbs lighter Im feeling good except for some gas pains in my left shoulder and stomach. If anyone has any sugestion that will help I will be glad to hear from you !
