8 weeks post-op Breast Lift with Silicone Implants

May 20, 2011

On March 23, 2011 I had a breast lift with silicone implants.  This has been a very interesting 8 weeks lol.  Having breasts that don't sag has been amazing! I feel like a woman again and it's lifted my self confidence tremendously.

I'm grateful to my amazing husband who made is possible to me to have this expensive surgery and I am forever thankful.

I plan on going back in March 2012 for a TT with muscle repair!

Back in the 120's by the skin of my teeth!

Dec 13, 2010

Well I've managed to get some extra bounce back weight off! Hip Hip Horray!  Super excited about that!

For the last the 3 day's I've weighed in at 129 lbs! Woot Woot!

Hellooooo 120's again! Let's hope I can at least stay here and drop the other 9 lbs I'd like to lose.  Do I "need" to weigh 120 lbs? NO! Do I want to YES!

So that's my happy post for today! I'm crazy I know.......but that's me!

Happy Monday!

A lot to be thankful for!

Dec 01, 2010

I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving! I know we sure did.  We enjoyed the time with our family and watched the Cowboys play.  Sure wish they would have won.  LOL. I know we all have so much to be thankful for.

I tried making more WLS friendly desserts this year for a change.  The pumpkin pie with Splenda was fine and tasted pretty much like a regular pumpkin pie.  However, the pecan pie made with SF syrup rather than Karo was so nasty......I threw it in the trash! I was not going to take it to Thanksgiving and serve it.  So in a last ditch effort, I went ahead and made a regualr pecan pie.  I'm so glad that I still dump on pecan pie or I would have ate some! I did however take a small bite of both the pumpkin pies I made.  Very tasty. I ate mostly ham and turkey this year.  I did take 1/2 tablespoon of my favorites like sweet potatoes, green bean cassarole and dressing.  I didn't exercise or get all my water in over the holiday break.  I had Starbucks almost everyday which kept my energy up along with all those pesky calories too. LOL Sorry Starbucks is my vice and I just cant help it.

My weight this morning was 132.00  I'm okay with it.  Yes, I would like to be 120 by all means but, I'm not going to stress over it.  My BMI is in the "normal" range and my life couldn't be happier! I def. don't want to go any higher than 135 and my surgeon agrees. So I will keep trucking along in this daily grinde of post-op life.  This is tuff stuff folks......whoever said it's easy was so wrong. LOL

I really do have a lot to be thankful for this year.  My health, my amazing husband and my wonderful children.  Today my sweet baby boy turns 1 year old.  It's bittersweet for me.  I'm pretty emotional about it in fact.  He's happy and healthy and that's all that matters I guess.  My 2 daughters are growing up so big and they are simply beautiful.  I can toot my horn and say my DH Brandon and I sure did make some pretty kiddos.  LOL. I'm thankful for all of them and my life wouldnt be complete without them.

DH and I went back on November 12th for his pre-op seminar and consult with my surgeon.  Brandon's BMI was around 38-39 so he's considered a lightweight like I was pre-op.  He's looking at the VSG.  I had the RNY.  He's pretty excited about it and we just pray our insurance covers the VSG.  I know they didn't almost 4 years ago when I had my RNY.  Our insurance has changed some since my surgery.  Brandon will have to do 90 days of pre-op nutrition classes before they will submit to our insurance.  He did one in November and will do Dec and Jan.  once he completes that they will submit to Aetna and we will know if he's been approved or not.  I pray he gets this approval.  He had high blood pressure, is border line diabetic and I'm pretty sure he's on the road to sleep apnea.  I know he can be very successful at this surgery.  He's been right by my side during my journey and knows hwo this all works.  He's gonna do great and look fabulous!

Bryder the Birthday Boy! Happy 1st Birthday buddy! We love you!

Okay folks I think I've rambled enough for one post. LOL I will check back in soon!

TTY!

3 years post-op

Sep 20, 2010

I'm living life and enjoying my health and posting here has taken a back burner.  I'm not sure if anyone reads this but I figured I'd update anyway!

I had my 3 year post op anniversary in August! Time sure flys.  In the 3 years since I've had surgery I've gave birth to 2 amazing kids.  Skyler is 23 months and Bryder is 9 months.  I thank God for them everyday.

I'm patiently waiting until the spring of 2011 when I will then under go my plastics journey.  I will be getting a tummy tuck and a breast lift with implants.  I'm excited to have my body complete!

My weight floats between 125 and 129 pounds.  I would like to lose about 15 more pounds! I prob. could if I would cut back on my sweet tea and snacking after 9pm.

This post wouldn't be complete without a updated picture!

Long time no post....lol

Apr 05, 2010

Wow, it's been a very long time since I posted.  A little update on me.  I had my 2nd post-op baby on December 2, 2009!  His name is Bryder and he just turned 4 months old.  He's a wonderful baby boy and is loved by so many :)

Skyler is now 18 months old and toddling her way on to potty training! YAY! I will be glad when that's said and done LOL!

Savannah is my oldest, she just turned 7 and she keeps us so BUSY!  She plays so many sports and does girl scouts too boot!

It's strange to stop and think that I've had 2 babies in the almost 3 years since I had my RNY.  Life changes so fast and time just flys by.

More drama than support?

Oct 07, 2009

Let me say, I've met many wonderful ladies here on OH and on the pregnancy board.  Several have became really good friends of mine, outside of OH.  I'm thankful for those ladies.  They are sweet and supportive.

However, in life you will always encounter a jealous bitch who likes to start drama and cause pain in other people.  Most people who do this are trying to feel better about themselves, in order to do that they must bring others down.

I'm hurt and upset about the events that unfolded.  The christian in me, tells me that I should pray for this woman.  That's what I shall do.  I hope she stops and thinks twice next time before she hurts someone.  I did nothing to this woman and I didn't deserve what she said or did.

God bless!

Here we go again!

Apr 21, 2009

I've been meaning to post this for a week or so but, I've just been so side tracked.

Well....here we go again!  I'm PREGNANT!  I'm due 12-9-09!  A Christmas baby!  The thing is....Skyler is not even 7 months old yet.  WOW!  Yep, they will be just 14 months apart in age.  It was a big shock, but very welcomed.

Our oldest is 6 yrs. old.  We tried for YEARS to have baby#2.  Even the Clomid didn't work.  I have PCOS or I did anyway.  I'm not sure it ever goes away but, mine seems to be gone since my RNY.

My surgeon told me that having the RNY and losing over 100 pounds would make me FERTILE!  BOY!  Was he right or what?!?!?!  Not once, but twice!

I'm now making up for years of infertility!  I feel blessed to be able to have babies.  For years I thought I would never be a mom again.  I had horrible PCOS symptoms and it drove me nuts.  I was fat and unhappy and all I wanted was another baby and a sibling for Savannah!

I can honestly say that the RNY is the only reason I'm a mom for a 2nd, and now going to be a 3rd time.  I mean that from the bottom of my heart.

I just wanted to share.....as always I'm a reg. on the Post-Op Pregnancy board....so if your a new mom to be....you can find me there!
