Im a 32 yr old mother of 3 great kids, have been diagnosed type 2 diabetic since my first pregnancy in 1998, I was insulin dependent for years until metformin came into my life. I now take 2000 mgs a day of this drug, and have tried various diets over the years only to yo yo after losing a max of 45 pounds over the years, nohting else seems to work. I have many friends that have successfully had bariatric WLS and have regained ther lives and health back.
My obesity has caused me muliptle heath problems over the years, and all i want to do is regian control of my own life once more. I want to be able to run marathons without wanting to pass out from exhaustion, i want to be able to rumble with my kids in the yard. My weight balloned after the still birth of my daughter isabelle 7 years ago, due to diabetic complications- my health problems caused me to lose my baby at delivery. I have my first seminar on WLS on Aug 11th, and im so excited, and nervous all at the same time. I hope this is the door to me being able to live agian. wish me luck.
