Is it wrong that I wanted my username to be FutureHotChick? If you know me at all, you know just how ridiculous a thing that would be for me to say. But I figured that absurdity doesn't always translate well in written form, and people may just think I was serious, so I decided against it.
I'm so happy that my surgeon's support group told me about this website! My surgery is in two days...Dec 6. I'm excited and also a little nervous. And also very hungry since today I began my two day clear liquid diet in preparation for surgery.
Today I have a to-do list a mile long but I will definitely be spending some time here reading all of your stories. Well...maybe not all of them (that's an awful lot), but I will read as many as I can.
I have to ask...did any of you experience a momentary panic when putting in your stats? I certainly didn't judge any of you, but my initial reaction to sharing mine was shame and panic and fear of being judged. What a horrible, horrible feeling.
How do I fix my profile pic so my picture doesn't look so squished?
