6 months Post-op

Jul 27, 2009

Yesterday marked 6 months post-op for me.  Back in January if you told me I would weigh 191.4 pounds I would have cursed you up and down and laughed my arse off & called you crazy!  I started out 1/2 a year ago at 287 pounds ... I have lost a total of 95.6 pounds!  I still can't believe it is me in the mirror or in the pictures ... somedays I find myself feeling & looking like almost 300 pounds ... I wish they did surgery on my brain too!

I am alive, I am living life to the fullest & my children really see the difference.  I go for walks, work out all the time & actively play with my children.  My skin is not as good as I was hoping for ... my legs are jiggly (smaller, but jiggly) & my arms are just horrid ... my belly is gross, but I knew that wouldn't be perfect, considering I had 3 kiddos & a big Panni.  I will be getting a tummy tuck hopefully next summer when I get to my goal weight of 160 lbs.

I am so happy that I had RNY.  Somedays when nothing seems to sit in my pouch well, has me thinking I regret it some, but it only lasts for a few hours or so & is not very often.  I am a new person & I love this new person, I would not change it for the world!

Just some notes of my 6 month surgiversary!
