Hello Everyone...
a little about myself... My name is Anna, and I am 31 years old and am working on getting a teaching career started. I have been overweight practically all my life, well, from about 10 yrs old and on i guess... I am tired of being overweight. I've tried many diets, and was successful at some points in my life, but then when you go off those diets, you gain it back really fast. Its been a battle that I have been struggling with my whole life. I want to end this battle and lose this weight. I have a great family that supports me 100% along with friends that also support my decidsion. I know its a life changing matter, and I know that I can do it. I want to get the surgery done as my extra tool to help keep it off... I know it can be gained back with surgery, but I WON'T let it happen!!! Like I said, it's my extra tool.
I am going through Kaiser, and just finished my Options class and all my blood tests and everything needed for the surgery... now its just the waiting game while it goes back and forth thru insurance companies and doctors. While that happens, I am gonna continue working on preparing myself for my lifestyle change, but also enjoy things that I won't be able to have after the surgery.
