I know its been a while since I've posted something...
I'm doing great... Surgery done and over with and no problems at all. Dr. Fedorka was really good and so was St. B's.
I am almost 3 months out and have lost a little over 50lbs.... kinda at a stall right now, but losing in inches because I have also gone down 2 pant sizes... thats great. I was able to give some of those away along with some tops to my fellow buddies in my support group.
I'm feeling really good.. one thing I REALLY need to do is get to exercising... I've been really bad about that and need to get back on track with it. Maybe that will get me passed my stall.
Thought I would let you know how I am doing and I will try to stay more up to date on here.

Finally a consult

The waiting game is still on... Yes, I finally did get scheduled for a consult, which is GREAT! Although the closer it comes, the more nervous I get... I hate that... I KNOW I KNOW... everything will be just fine...
So, my sonsult is schduled on July 1st, and they say they want to start scheduling surgeries with this doctor at St. B's by the end of July, beginning of August... Things are looking great. Now if I can just get motivated enough to walk on a regular basis right now... that's my goal right now... Walk at least 4 days a week, whether it be on the treadmill or taking the dog for a walk.
Everything is falling into place... Life is good!

I have great news.... Kaiser Fontana just called me and said they opened up a contract with St. Bernadine's in San Bernardino.... They are starting consultations this month and setting up surgeries for July... Looks like I might be setting mine up for end of July beginning of August. I'm just a little nervous with that, because I don't know much about it, and with going to Pac Bar, i would have a little more info with that... Those docs have been doing it for years and years, and it is a specialty hospital too... I will have a consultation with him and ask plenty of questions though.... Anyone ever hear of Dr. Peter Fedorka? He is from the Redlands Emdical Center....

the waiting game

So, I am waiting for Kaiser to process paperwork, and send it to Pac Bar so I can get my consultation and surgery date set up... I guess it's all just a waiting game. The time os getting close though, since I am now done with the Options courses through Kaiser as well. I went to my first support group last night, but it didn't seem to informative... it was kinda just an hour of people introducing themselves... yes, I'd like to get to know people... but I'd also like to hear more about experiences and all. It was my first one though, and I am sure that I will be going to many more of them. I really would like to find a support group that I really connect with the people there. I am sure there is one out there for me, just gotta find it.
