I thought for quite awhile before I typed this..There are so many things I could say, but it would take forever to type them all..
Im 35 Years old and since I could remember I have always been on the heavy side.. When I was a child my mother was not very nice about my weight. (Even though my Dad was Very Heavy) - Certain things stick out in my mind that made me know that she didnt approve of my weight.. When I was 10, My Father was on Weight Watchers. My Mother decided that since he was on it, I should be too..It was horrible, I was 10 and didnt understand at all..
When I was about 15, I got down to about a size 8 by starving myself for a long long time.. at 16, I went to live with my Grandparents.. And My Grandma could not feed me enough.. she was always cooking and putting food in my face.. in 1 year I went from a size 8 to a size 20.. And Have never been lower than I size 20 since then.. I have had 2 sets of Twins and with the first set I lost the weight I gained and went back to my size 20 and about 250 LBS.. Then with the second set I gained LOTS of weight and never lost it.. So Now Im about 300 LBS..
In 2002 My Father Had WLS and Lost Approx 150 LBS.. I was so Impressed that I started to look into it.. It took alot of years and many waiting lists but I finally got a Date- (September 17, 2007) WOOHOOOOOO!
It couldnt be soon enough.. I found out in the Summer of 2006 that Im diabetic and have high blood pressure.. That was a hard one for me to take. I just didnt think that I should be hearing things like that when I was only 34 Years old..
Im Married to a WONDERFUL man for the past 9 years who will love me either Fat or Thin.. Without him & his Family, I dont know where I would be today. Jamie is my Angel.. I thank him everyday for loving me for who Iam, not what size Iam..
I also got a wonderful bonus when we got married.. I have the Most AMAZING Mother In Law! She is a wonderful lady who is also one of my Best Friends!
