My name is Maurice, I'm 38 yrs old. Married to a wonderful woman name Kimberly and have 2 kids Maurice Jr. and Ashley. My wife has been a great support she didn't have the surgery but she is losing weight by eating healthy and has lost 65lbs and only has 15lbs to get to her goal weight I think that is just amazing that she did it on her own. I was overweight only as an adult. I had the LapBand done last year and it has been a blessing. I lost a total of 105 lbs. I feel great! No more back pain and no more joint pain. I'm loving my band because it has blessed me. I can do things that I couldn't do before. I'm enjoying my kids and doing differents sports with them and I'm enjoying my wife we have a date night each week that we are loving.I have been attending a support group here once a month which is just awesome. I have met some great people since my surgery. I'm just very happy with my weightloss!
