Lost 5 pounds since I started kickin it in gear...gonna keep working it...Eating right, exercising during day to videos-hardcore, walking at night-either treadmill, eliptical, or real walking lol! I also work around my house to break a sweat and will turn down the air to help.  Got a little off track this wkend but Monday is waiting for me-and so is Jillian Michaels (video instructor).

Better...

 Been doing better! I've been pushin protein and some fiber noticing some changes. Gotten back to taking my vitamins daily and now I've added a metabolic booster. Been walking at night and trying to do more exercise. Short and sweet, but doin BETTER and that's all that counts. ~Lots of Love and Losing, Lauren

It's been a year, still stuck here...

It's been a year since my last post and almost that long since I've been on here.  It seems like that long since I've had motivation to try to get more weight off.  My port is still floating, due to lack of money to fix it, the weight loss/lack there of falls all on me and my work.  Wishing where I live there were more people around that have had surgery and know what to do and how to deal and can be a support for me.  Someone to go workout/walk with would be awesome, even someone to talk to that knows what I mean would be amazing, my friend from last blog is still paying for a gym membership but hasn't been since I quit like a year ago (again, lack of funds). The boyfriend is now the husband and he is stubborn and lazy, it's like when I ask to go for a walk with the dogs you think i would have asked him to eat the grass, not just mow it or something awful like that, it's all computer and tv for him.  Odd thing is he talks about being fat and wanting to loose weight and has even mentioned possible WLS for himself but isn't very supportive of others...weird huh? And YES, I know I can do it alone and have many times before during day when hubby is gone I do workout tapes stretch and walk and work around house.  I think it's much easier to do something with someone else especially when they want it too. Sorry to be so down and out.  I've got to get some of this weight off soon, going to a family reunion with my husband (his) and meeting lots of new people don't want them to think, gah why'd he marry such a fat a**?  I may try the ketosis diet for a couple weeks and see how that works.  ~Love and Lots of Losing, Lauren

In Progress..

So...I began this profile two days ago and weighed in at 270.  In two days I've lost two pounds EXCITED...I know it's not alot but it's progress.  I went to GNC today and they were having a BIG sale so I was excited-got some protein powder, bars and drinks.  I also got some vitamins for women from GNC, they are in a powder form too, so I can mix them with water or skim milk and it actually doesn't taste that bad it's chocolate flavored...
    Oh, I also went to the gym tonight and kicked it-I did the treadmill for 1/2 mile and eliptical for 1/2 mile and I did it as hard and fast as I could...just wanted to test myself.  I also did some weight machines and lifting free weights trying to tone my arms up, they need it badly.  I also did the toning tables to help get rid of inches.  My best friend and I have decided we are going to go 2x a day to the gym once during the day to do treadmills and elipticals to walk/jog/run.  Then we will go back again at night after my hunny is off work and we will do weights and toning tables then.
