Congrats on your upcoming surgery. I know that you are probably nervous and anxious at the same time. Just know you are not alone, you are not the first to be nervous and you will not be the last. It is expected to be anxious, but it is a good anxiety. Take everything given to you in stride. Know that you have made a good decesion on the good days as well as the bad. Remember that you made this decesion for a healthier, better you. Believe me when I tell you the end result is WONDERFUL!!! Adrienne

Hi Beverly, I just read your profile and we have a few things in common besides being in the same area. I love cookbooks too, want to learn to knit, can crochet on a very basic level. I had my informational meeting on July 20 at Dr. Cook's. Dr. Cox came in and talked with us. It is exciting because it makes you feel like you are making progress. The meeting was very helpful. I sent you an e-mail but thought I would post some comments too. I have a teenage son (15) and an 11 year old son. Been married for 16 years but we have had our ups and downs. Talk to you again soon... Linda
