Barb, whatever you do never give up. The Bible says while there is breath there is HOPe. Take my hand and together we can cross over to a better life. A life that we deserve and through that we can be a better , yet stronger person. Not only in our physicle life but in our FAITH in GOD. God bless you and I am here for you if you need a FRIEND. Sounds to me like you're on your way! Congrats on making the decision to become a healthier person. As far as the negative family member go, I have the same trouble with my beau's family. Tell them that you know the risks of the surgery, this is something that you have researched and you also know the risks of not having the surgery.
