I saw my PCP

I saw my PCP last Wednesday. He is very supportive and says that I am the perfect candite for the surgery. He also told me that he would do anything he needed to do to help get me approved for insurance to pay for it!! Also, he gave me medication to help me stop smoking!!!! When I went home and told my husband what he had said (my husband wants to do the surgery after me), he said after my car is paid off we would see about financing the surgery if we couldn't get the insurance to pay for it. Then after my surgery we would do his. That is one of the very many reasons why he is the best husband ever!!!!! Keep me in your thoughts and prayers. God will help me find a way!!! Have a great day!

I desided to gradually tell people of my choice to persue surgery. So far, my reactions have been mixed. My husband was very supportive, of course, he is the best!!!
My mother-in-law was supportive. My dad thought that this was an unnessary extreme measure. I told him that he has been thin before and that I never have, he said I was right!
I have only told a total of 4 people at work of them one has had the surgery already (1 year ago) and my 2 other friends I told are very supportive. The only other person at work that knows is our human resources guy that is helping me find out if I can have insurance pay for it.
My two best friends were not sure at first, but after finding out as much as I had they were both on my side.
