Well my name is Pearl I am 48 years old. After the death of my husband I lost a ton of weight. The smallest I had ever been. But after life moved on I started to go up again. And I never looked back. My family is all very large. My sister died at the age of 41, due to complacations of her weight. That is when I started to look for help with my weight issue. Oh and the pain I am always in pain. Sometimes I can't even walk, I went into a deep depresion and added more weight to my small frame. And then I found Dr. Glass and all the message boards. I dont want to die, I WANT TO LIVE!!! My sister and I both are going to get the RNY I am just a little bit further along than she is in the journey. I am working with Dr. Glass and I am going to have the rny. I am a grandmother of 12 and want to be active in there life. My BMI is 38 and going up.
