I am a little late starting my story but here it goes. In December 2005 I had Lapband surgery to lose weight. My Mom died at 43, my family has a lot of dieabetes in it and I had been diagnosed with that terrible dieasese. After having Lapband for 3 years my band slipped and I had only lost 30lbs. My band was removed in October 2007 and I had RNY with Fobi Pouch surgery on January 10, 2008. My sister's birthday and my new birthday.
Today, March 24th, I am no longer on dieabetes medicine and have lost 37lbs. I love my new tool and can't wait to get to my goal of 140lbs. I am currently at 193.
