WLS has given me back the life of my youth. Everything has changed, from the way I feel about myself to how others see me. I have found that my friends now invite me to participate in actives. Strange men open doors for me. And I no longer feel embarrassed to eat in public. I have more energy and personal care tasks are no longer physically hard for me to do. I enjoy everything I do much more that ever before. I like who I am today. I am and will be forever grateful for this second chance at life. I had a RYN - open / Nov. 29, 2005 Before 320 pounds / after 150 pounds 170 lbs. in 14 Months July 16, 2007 - I am now post-op 1 year and 8 months, my weight is now 135 pounds - total loss 185 pounds.
