Carrie, I am 4 weeks post op. For us, the first two weeks were 1/2a cup of low fat milk 3 times a day (fortunately we could mix SF Carnation Instant Breakfast in it if we wanted to)and other than that just liquids. At two weeks we switch to puree foods, creme soup, soft scrambled eggs, yogurt and that type of foods. We stay on that until our 4th week then can begin to slowly introduce normal foods. Having said all that, I strongly recommend you follow what ever diet your own surgeon prescribes for you. Each Dr. is different, and makes their diet recommendations based on their own experiences. Good luck with your surgery! Tami

<face font ="Tahoma">Hi Carrie! Good luck with the consult -- be prepared and ask everything you can think of, especially how many surgeries he's done and whether they provide post-op support. I'll keep my fingers crossed...<p> GOOD LUCK! GOOD LUCK! GOOD LUCK !
