my world was turned upside-down yesterday when i was told i would no longer be needed at work. :( went in to check the schedule and talk to the manager because I was planning on returning this week. Instead i got pulled aside and told that they weren't interested in me coming back. So today and for the next while I will be running around trying to secure a new job so I don't lose my house and end up having to move back to my dads. *shudder* its just not a good combo. So please send good vibes my way!!to be honest im not really surprised. for a while they have been showing signs of trying to boot me out the door. there was no real reason either. i had worked there for two years and i guess that was too long or something. in the months leading up to it they cut my hours significantly( i was only part time to begin with ) fabricating stories about my work ethic and even stating to my face that they would rather have someone else to do my job. :/ i worked really hard at making the restaurant a wonderful place to be. i will certinly miss all my regulars. i bet they'll wonder where i am. i spose the positive side to this is that my life will be less stressful and my weekly gas bill will go down.
im really trying to become a teaching assistant. i love working with kids and i think it would be a really rewarding job. so we will see how that pans out but at this point ill accept any job.
