Summer is almost here!!

Apr 19, 2009

Sorry I havent posted lately but you know how life tends to get in the way when you finally start living it instead of letting it go by!
Alot has happened since last I posted. I am starting the clean up and organizing of a move to LAS VEGAS!!! Yes, my son will finally be finished with school and off on a life of his own and I will be free to move back to my beloved vegas and surrounding area.
I started college Business courses online and am almost finished with my first class. Its going fine, hard getting used to schoolwork after 22 years but it comes back to you just like riding a bike.
The third really cooool thing that happened was I won a raffle, it cost me 50 bucks and guess what i won- " A MOTORCYCLE"!!! Yup, a 2005 yamaha v-star custom. It's awesome....Now for the biggie....
I am one week out from having an armlift!!! The doc actually took off almost a FOOT of excess crap from my arms!! There wasn't alot of pain really, just alot of discomfort. My arms feel like over ripe tomatoes that could explode at any second!! LOL
But oh my the difference, I wouldn't even be ashamed of wearing sleeveless shirts with these big ol scars! they are nowhere near healed yet but they are gonna look great!!
So onto an update of my Rny, I am doin great. occasionally I overeat but I havent had a dumping episode in a while and I have even eaten small amounts of sweets, not alot but you all know how hard it is to resist! I started having some dizzy spells and almost fainted once about a month ago so I went to the doctor and with tests and such we decided that I was becoming hypoglycemic and so I have had to add about 200 cals more spread thruout the day to keep my blood sugar up some. Since doing this I haven't had anymore spells and I have been feeling pretty good! I will try to update again sooner!
