7/12/07- Well, it has been awhile. I weigh 219 lbs. and I have lost a total of 48 lbs. I am still working at it and plan to get lower! All is well, just been really busy with school, family and friends, work and just living life. Hope all is well with everyone and will update soon.
6 Weeks Post Op

2/1/07- I went to the doctor yesterday. Everything went well. I have lost a total of 16lbs. I was weighed in the afternoon and I had already ate breakfest and lunch, so I probably weigh a couple of pounds less. I got my first fill and I think they put 1cc in. You have to be on liquids for 24 hours afterwards and then work your way back up to solid foods again. So far I can't tell that much of a difference. The doctor told me to give it a couple of days and see if I am getting a full feeling and measure how much I am eating. I think I am going to need another fill. I guess we will have to wait and see. It is snowing here as well! Have a good day!
2 weeks Post Op

1/5/07- I went to the doctor on Wednesday and that was my 2 weeks post op. My incisions looked good and everything is going pretty well. I have lost a total of 12 lbs, which the doctor was pleased with that. I must say the day I got out of surgery, I was pretty miserable. I have never had a surgery before and I was in so much pain. Each day got better and better. I am still on pureed foods/soft foods. I will be glad when I can actually eat solid foods again. I don't go back until January 31st for my first fill. 12/19/06- Well, this is it. Tomorrow is the big day. I have to be at the hospital tomorrow at 7:30 in the morning. That will be pretty early for me. I hope all goes well. Wish me luck and pray for me.
Doctor's Appointment

12/18/06- So, last Friday I went to my last doctor's appointment before my surgery. It went well, I have lost 7 pounds! Yea! I now am at 260 lbs. I started my liquid diet yesterday and it totally sucks. It is hard, because I work in a corporate office and there is tons of holiday food everywhere. Plus I just won a basket full of goodies today and I can't have any of it. Bummer! But, I will get through it somehow. On the plus side I have only two more days!
10-Day Diet

12/11/06- Well, I started my 10-day diet yesterday. I thought it would be pretty easy, but it actually is kind of hard. I think I am doing pretty well though. I have been getting in my protein, water and vitamins. I have had a bite of things that I was not suppose to have. I'm trying really hard though. Hope everyone has a good Monday!
Surgery Date Confirmed

12/2/06- Last Wednesday I went to see Dr. Keith. My surgery date has been confirmed! The big day is December 20th. I am scared and excited at the same time. I have a lot to get done before then. Let's just pray that the snow does not postpone any of my appointments that I must go to. Have a great Saturday!
