"I am having a revision done by Dr. Husted. He was in Nashville but has gone to San Francisco which is where I will be having the surgery. I lost a minimal amount of weight with the RNY which I had 2 years ago and Dr. Husted will be converting it to a Duedonal Switch. I first met Dr. Husted a year ago when he turned me down for a revision because it was too soon after my RNY and I needed to deal with some food issues. He recommended I see a bariatric psychiatrist, which I did and for which I'm greatful. After working with Dr. Scales, Dr. Husted has agreed to do the revision. He has been very professional and the staff has been very helpful. He has an excellent reputation.rnAddendum: Dr. J. Husted did a fantastic job and I couldn't be happier. His bedside manner is wonderful and his follow-up care has been excellent.rn12/16/07 I'm now 16 months out and have a normal BMI. Every time I have needed to talk to Dr. Husted, I have emailed him and he has called me within a couple of days. Even though he is in California and I'm in Alabama, I feel I can talk to him any time. So even if you travel to get your surgery, Dr. Husted is very accessible and involved. I couldn't be happier with my results and my continued care. He is fantastic."
