It was a long road to come to the decision to look into weight loss surgery. My mindset was that I got myself into this boat, I should be able to get out of it on my own. Clearly after 38 years, I wasn't having any luck with that! I have lost a lot of weight a few times, and gained all of it back and more each time.
I am tired of struggling with this same battle over and over again, so if I can get some help with this surgery, I`ll take it. I am glad that the Windsor Bariatric Treatment and Assessment Centre requires so much work pre-surgery, it gives you a lot of time to figure out if this surgery is the right decision for you.
I`m making my way along the path, and looking forward to seeing what comes.
