My info was sent to the insurance company on Monday Aug 28 and the SAME day they called Barix and told them I was approved. I have to now wait on my formal letter to be sent and then I can schedule my date so now just a few weeks away!
Thurs day Sept 28 I got my call for my date Pre op testing 10/2/06 and Surgery Date is 10/19/06
10/2/06 pre op testing went ok BP was high they where a little concern I took my meds and it went down. Also had my meeting with the nutrionist and got some real clear ideas on my new diet!
10/19/06 Well iwas there on table an ready to go but with lack of fluids and stress from the needle pokes for them trying to find veins for IV's my blood preasure jump to high for surgery and we had to postpone so my bp has to be monitored for a weeks or so and then they will give me another date! I am so discouraged but just another obstacle to overcome!
11/06/06 Well greetings family it has been a minute. For althoughs that might not remember I am Lee I was suppose to have my surgery on Oct 19th but due to my BP on the table they postponed my surgery
until we could get my preasure down. Well it is down and I have been given a new date of Nov 22nd 
! So let me share some important info for preop people start reading those labels closely before your surgery it becomes so important after but I found out its just as important before. The reason my surgery was postponed is that when I was put on clear liquids before my surgery the broth I was eating/drinking was fat free but very high in sodium very high in sodium 880mg per serving and it was 2 serving per can and of course I consumed 2 cans that day! So you can do the math. I am already hypertensive so its was very bad after all the extra sodium
I think my wife was trying to bump me off but she deines it 
but I will defintely be reading labels and making sure she does as well! Oh by the way I am joking about my wife trying to bump me off, She LOVES ME 
foreal I think most of the time on even days every other week on days that the sunshines and it does not rain!

11/22//06 Surgery day little nervous was very scared but had a dream of waking up in the recovery room and I was doing well!
11/24/06 going home 1 day early pain is not bad a little uncomfortable feel like I did 10,000 sit-ups but I am walking and I passed the gas OH BOY!
11/25/06 Home and a little challenge on how to get conmfortable no apetitte but I am making my self sip protein and take my vitamins.

5/2/07 I am back ok i know its been a while but I am doing good confidence is out of this world and I am more mobile and active and acomplishing more in life. I am down 135 lbs in 5 mths need to get my protein better but i am doing good blood preasure is lowering and I am feeling great!
