"so, i had the surgery just 3 days ago, i had a revision to the roux en y to help repair my hernia. i cannot believe that i haven't had heartburn in 3 days, and i don't think i'll have to worry about this again. from the very beginning, dr. felix was very kind and professional. nothing in that has changed since we met. his office staff was wonderful. always answering my questions. he explained perfectly what had to be done. there really isn't anything i didn't like about him. he emphasizes an after care program. i will see him monday, 6 days after surgery and then 2 weeks later i'm seeing his nutritionist. he told me about all the risks and benefits prior to the surgery. he also was able to put it through the insurance as a hernia repair and of course one way to fix the hernia is to do a roux en y. i would rate him a 5/5, and his surgical competence and bedside manner were equally great. i really can't say anything negative, as every experience has been positive so far."
