Jose Estigarribia

"At first, I thought he was a funny man with a thick accent. He has a heart of Gold and the talent of God. Overtime I have come to respect him more and more. His staff was good. However, sometimes they would forget to tell you what paper work you would need or when you need to pay what. Future patients should know that he is a very talented, gifted surgeon who really does give a damn about his patients. Growing up knowing a lot of doctors you learn that they become desensitized to patients. I never felt that way about Dr. Esti. He really cares. His passion is his patients. His aftercare program is thorough. The doctor is very informative of the risks of the surgery. Overall I would give him a 10 on a scale of 1 to 10. His bedside manner equals his great surgical competence. The only real negative is the hospital he did the surgery at. All the nurses their said they respect him, yet they all had trouble following his orders."

"There were some very dedicated and wonderful nurses. However, nearly every aid I had appeared to need to be in the hosipital more than me. At times the hospital was rude (unless you are getting a lap-band at this hospital don't bother going here) and at other times they were inept (for example, the pain medication machine broke down...so instead of getting my medication from another floor or by another means I waited the day after surgery for 5 hours beyond my schedule pain dose to get any relief of medicine.) Some of the people were great, but I could legitimately describe my experience as a nightmare at the hospital. My surgeon rocked though. He was amazing."
