Abdominoplasty and breast augmentation 3 months post op

Jun 09, 2014

I've been meaning to post pictures for a while! Been so busy.

3 months post-op and I'm trying to get some muscle definition and working on my obliques. Also trying hard to work on self image! It's amazing how addicting plastic surgery can be. A year ago I thought it was ridiculous for people to go under the knife for a tummy tuck. When I started looking into the TT, I thought it was absolutely crazy for people to get flankplasty or lipo. Now I see my hips and think "gross"! I guess you could say I'm chasing perfection, which is a horrible path to go down.

Regardless, very happy with the results thus far!! Can't wait to see what muscles I can grow. Hot yoga is my new drug, and it does amazing things for the core.

Post Tummy Tuck picture

Apr 15, 2014

I just love my new belly button.

tummy tuck!

Tummy tuck... necessary? Definitely not. But I do love it and am ecstatic to have received it as a gift. You can look great with or without plastic surgery!!! Don't let people tell you that you need plastics or that you don't need plastics! It's really up to you!!

Two Years Post-op!

May 28, 2012

Hope you are all enjoying your Memorial Day weekend! God Bless the USA!

Date of surgery: May 26, 2010
Weight at time of surgery:
261
Highest weight:
around 285
Current weight:
 162
Lowest weight:
150
Height (kind of important, I suppose): 5' 7.5"

Unhappy that I weighed in at 162, 12 pounds higher than my lowest weight but about 7 pounds higher
than my "maintain" weight
My struggle now is to get these 7 pounds off and maintain at 155.
Anyway, I didn't edit or photoshop the photos so you can see it all in it's glory! (strechmarks, etc)

What's changed since my 1 year? Well... not a whole lot of ground breaking stuff. I actually am weighing in a little higher than I did 365 days ago, so it's not my weight. My health has stabilized. I am able to eat more now, and I am desperately trying to watch it so it doesn't get out of hand. I hope do do a bariatric "back to basics" "diet" (I use the term diet VERY loosely) this summer and I hope to re-energize my sleeve.
I have been more open about my sleeve in the last year, but only with those whom I feel it necessary. My friend decided to have VSG about three months ago and I couldn't be happier that I shared my VSG story with her.
Life's good. I LOVE my sleeve.

Please comment if you have any suggestions for me (trying to get back down to 155) or if you have any questions.
Please don't comment if you're going to tell me I don't need to lose any more weight and I shouldn't worry about those 7 pounds.

Week 47 post op- 4.2 lb lost this week, 106.5 total

Apr 19, 2011

 WHAT DA F***?!
I bet I gain a majority of this back next week. It's just kinda surreal. Oh well, I'm happy right now!! I have a new low weight!! About two months ago I got down to 157, then all of a sudden I gained in back to back weeks and was up to 162 again! Ever since then I've been fighting to get down from 161-159. And this week I lose more than 4 pounds out of nowhere? So weird!!
Well, last week I worked out at the gym (45 min elliptical, 450 calories 5 miles) MONDAY, TUESDAY, WEDNESDAY, AND THURSDAY!!!! I was so proud of my self! (I usually only get to the gym 3 times a week) On top of that I had three tests last week.. NO EXCUSES. Like Nike.. JUST DO IT. BrownBlonde and I also ended up jogging/walking a 5K on saturday. So technically I worked out 5 times last week! woo! The 5K (3.1 miles) was SOOO much fun. I jogged the entire first 2.5 K, but walked/jogged the second half. After the 5K early Saturday morning, we went to brunch (channeling our inner fat people, lol) with our supermodel friend. Seeing her just reminds me of how far I've come and how far I want to contnue to go. I don't necessarily care about weight as a number (ok, that's a lie, I want to be in the 140s at least), but I want to be fit. I'm tired of the jiggle between my thighs (some of it is extra skin) and on my stomach. I've actually seen a huge improvement in my stomach in the last month. The elliptical is AWESOME for building stomach muscles!
This week I have been equally productive at the gym, but not so much in studying. It's so hard to study when a test is two or three weeks away. I guess I'm just a procrastinator. Gym-45 min elliptical Monday, Tuesday. Today (Wednesday) I am going to Oklahoma City to get my hair rehighlighted and then going to the OKC THUNDER PLAYOFF GAME!!! (Huge Thunder fan here! Beat the Nugs!) So I will miss the gym today. Thursday I am going to a wedding shower out of town, but I should have time to hit the gym. Hopefully I can make up my missed 45 minutes this weekend, although I am not making any promises. I hate Friday workouts! I refuse!! Also, Friday I have class then will be going to OKC for Good Friday services at church. Saturday is yet another funeral in my family and Sunday is Easter! I know.. what happened to "NO EXCUSES," right? Shit happens I guess!
Anyway here's wishing you a great week in the loss column, hoping my loss wasn't a fluke, and hoping I don't gain all this weight back next week!!
Current Weight: 155
