Douglas M. Krahn

"Very handsome, compassionate, and knowledgable. Very firm, absolute. Listens and answers questions is always available.rnHad a very informative pre-surgery seminar, lost of tesitmonies, compassionate fun nurses, adressed all the aftercare, risks, and affirmed me as a good candidate. I believe surgical competence is foremost, but I appreciate a good Dr. who can talk well and care. I've had both. This Dr. is excellent. Surgery is set for sometime in Feb.rnrnOnly negative is that we both talk fast. He outalked me. Which is O.K. I tend to be a motor mouth.rnrnExtra comment - I had a lot of pre op work to do. Surgery was not until May 18, 05. It was difficult getting information on when the surgery was, so I was uncomfortable in April and almost back out. But I'm glad I stayed. I had the best. IT was well worth waiting for."

"It's a teaching hospital so get use to a lot of students dealing with you. But the surgeon stays on top of everything. There are no private rooms, and I missed that. Also the rooms are small. But care is excellen"

St. Bernardines Medical Center

"Very old, but well equipped. Really good care. Was put in the cardicac ward, so very well cared for. Parking was bad and hard to get in and out of."
