So surgery was last tuesday.. it will be 1 week tomorrow.. It was uneventful, nothing extraordinary... I did stay at the hospital 1 extra day just cause I was unable to get in any liquids (due to nausea) but I am glad I stayed an extra day... I have been back home since Thursday (late afternoon) and have been staying on the liquid track.. I am determined to stay on liquids for the full 2 weeks after surgery and then continue on to 4 weeks mushy until my 1st fill at 6 weeks (per doctor's orders).. I know I have lost more because my jeans that did not fit for a while are fitting me again. YIPEEEEEEE... I will not sabotage by getting on a scale .. ... anyhooo I will keep posting and thank you all for your support... It is very encouraging...

just an update. I've been on liquids since the day after I was given my date for surgery. They told me it would not be a full 2 weeks, but that shouldn't be a problem. I started last Thursday, so it was 10 days today and I have lost about 14 pounds. Most is porbably water weight, I know, but I feel lighter and more energetic already and it's 14 pounds that I wont have to lose later. Thanks GOD! Well I do wish I would have started the liquids earlier but the only reason I'm able to hang in there now is cause I have my surgery date to look forward to.. I'm excited, the scared part hasn't kicked in yet! Will probably post tmrw night one last time before surgery. Thanks to all for their kind words and prayers.

okay so I got a date, in just 12 days! 12/18/07 is my date for surgery!! I am soooo excited. I am on this site everynite but do not post. not sure why? but I have decided to get regular in my posting especially since my surgery is soo close and I know I will really need the support after I get banded, like that's my initiation into the "bandster's club" LMAO ,,,

okay so I have an appt tmrw for "cardiac clearance" before surgery  (not sure what that entails, hope it's painless) . Don't have my date for surgery yet but I know this is one of the few steps right before surgery. My approval came for surgery and the expiration on it says 1/4/08 so I know surgery will be sometime before then.... will keep posting .
